THE MANUFACTURE'S ORIGIN
ORIGINS
On May 1st, 2000 at 1 P.M., a story about BOHIN was broadcasted on French TV on TF1. The next day, people were in the manufacture yard: BOHIN France became part of the "French Heritage" overnight.
The number of visit requests increased, and our staff had to improvise. In response to this increased number of visitors (2,000 people a year without advertising) and their desire to know more about our products, the idea of creating a museum naturally came to mind to Didier Vrac, BOHIN’s former president.
He met François Confino, a talented scenographer known throughout the world, who fell under the charm of this project.
