TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS

MADELEINE PROJECT
FROM MARCH 21st TO MAY 13th 2022
The travelling exhibition of the Daily Life History Museum arrives at BOHIN's manufactory. Discover the story of Madeleine, born in 1915, through the objects of her life, found by Clara Beaudoux in the cellar of the appartment they both occupied years apart. These objects evoke the personality of Madeleine, her tastes, the milestons of her life or how History is found in the personal story of a woman. Like a Proust madeleine, visitors will inevitably be moved by the memories evoked by these objects.

CHRISTINE CHANTELOUBE
FROM MAY 21st TO JULY 16th 2022
The artist was invited by the township commuity of Pays de L'Aigle at BOHIN's manufactory. This exhibition, which is free to enter, brings together works and installations especially adapted to the site by the artist. The whites and ochres, as present in the works as in the exhibition room, play on the great luminosity of the space. The works unfold between the beams and walls to create a space for visitors to wander through the delicate poetry of textures created by the artist.

The exhibition will display an installation reproducing a knitted sensory garden from the various workshops created by the association. To complete the evocation of the famous garden of Giverny, the painting “The Bridge” made in knitting in 2017 will also be shown.
